Kentucky state legislators have officially filed bills to establish their own version of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), setting the stage for a major shake-up in state budgeting.
The initiative, dubbed KOGE, will strictly enforce budget restrictions on Democrat Governor Andy Beshear, thanks to efforts led by Senator Lindsey Tichenor. Meanwhile, Reps. TJ Roberts and Steve Hodgson are spearheading KY DOGE, which will conduct a deep dive into the state’s budget to cut unnecessary spending in the next financial bill.
With Kentucky leading the charge, other states struggling with bloated budgets and reckless Democrat leadership could soon follow suit. The DOGE movement is setting a new trend, proving that fiscal responsibility and government accountability are possible—even in states where corruption and overspending have long been the norm.
