MILWAUKEE, WI – Outraged parents are demanding answers from Cristo Rey High School administrators after a shocking scandal involving a hidden camera in the girls’ locker room.
Former security coordinator Fernando Bustos, who also previously served as a police officer, has been criminally charged after allegedly being caught with over 400 videos of female students changing.
Parents are enraged that they weren’t informed for weeks, despite police being called on February 19. Many are now questioning whether the school attempted to cover up the incident.
“How could something this disturbing happen under their watch, and we’re only just finding out?” one furious parent asked.
Bustos, who resigned from the police force in 2020, pleaded not guilty in court today. However, the disturbing allegations have left the community shaken, with many demanding a full-scale investigation into the school’s handling of the situation.
Why did the school wait so long to inform parents? Who else knew? These are the questions parents want answered—immediately.
