Alan Dershowitz ripped Alvin Bragg’s indictment of former President Donald Trump and threatened to hit Michael Cohen with a defamation lawsuit last night on Fox News.
Alan said the New York prosecutor “deliberately violated the statute of limitations” with his Trump indictments and that relying on Michael Cohen as a star witness will backfire. “They’ve made a foolish, foolish decision which will cause the case to be thrown out, I think, on statute of limitations grounds.
Then Alan put Cohen on notice: “Let me tell you something about Michael Cohen. He’s not through with his problems. He just tweeted about me—saying because I had attacked his credibility that I was involved with underage girls on Epstein’s island—I’m about to sue him now for defamation.
“As you know, the woman who falsely accused me acknowledged that she may have made a mistake in misidentifying me.
“Now I would normally not sue someone for writing that kind of nonsense but this is Michael Cohen.
“Who is about to prevent Donald Trump from running for president of the United States and I’m going to sue him for defamation.
“His problems are just beginning.
“I will make it easier for Joe Tacopina to cross-examine him (in the Trump trial).”
Convicted felon Michael Cohen said:
“Says the guy who spent time with Jeffrey Epstein on Underage Sex Island.
“@AlanDersh, like Rudy Colludy, has become a complete joke representing a bigger joke.”
