King Charles was officially coronated today and as well wishes came pouring in a story in the British media stole his thunder. According to a new report, Queen Elizabeth was no fan of Meghan Markle. In fact, she called Meghan ‘evil.’
Queen Elizabeth II said she regretted that her grandson Prince Harry ever met Meghan Markle and that their romance was a “complete catastrophe.” According to The Spectator:
“At the drinks before the dinner, a small group were talking to the monarch and she explained that Harry meeting Meghan had become a complete catastrophe and described her as evil,” the source claimed.
“Everybody’s eyebrows hit the ceiling,” the source recalled.
“It was out of character for the Queen to use such a word as ‘evil’ to describe Meghan, but she saw straight through her.
“It was a startling sentence to hear from the most forgiving woman on Earth.”
And biographer Tom Bower said the Queen said about her husband Prince Philip’s funeral: “Thank goodness Meghan is not coming.”
Meghan did not go to England for Charles’ big day and she probably won’t be welcome anytime soon.
Trump told conservative UK politician Nigel Farage that Meghan ‘disrespected the Queen. He said:
“I think Meghan has been very disrespectful to the Queen.
“How can you be so disrespectful to the Queen?
“She [the Queen] was incredible, for decades and decades she never made a mistake.
“I cannot think of a mistake she made, she was never controversial.
“You cannot be disrespectful to her and I think Meghan was very disrespectful to her, very disrespectful.”
Trump said of Charles’ big day:
“I think it’s going to be a great day, I think they will do a great job and he [Charles] loves the country. I got to know him [Charles] quite well and he loves the country, really loves the country and he loved his mother.”
Biden said of King Charles:
“Congratulations to King Charles III and Queen Camilla on their Coronation. The enduring friendship between the U.S. and the U.K. is a source of strength for both our peoples.
“I am proud the First Lady is representing the United States for this historic occasion.
Finnish President Sauli Niinistö said: “On behalf of Finland, we extended Their Majesties our very best wishes for a long and successful reign.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said:
“The ancient Cosmatesque mosaic in Westminster Abbey, on which today the throne was placed for the coronation of King Charles III, was masterfully created by Italian craftsmen some eight centuries ago.
“Today it is still there to amaze the world, and to tell the story of the historic and fruitful cooperation between Italy and the United Kingdom, which we are sure with King Charles III – who once again reminded yesterday that he loves Italy – will further strengthen, as we have already begun to do with PM Rishi Sunak.
“My best wishes to King Charles III, Queen Camilla and the entire British people.
