Tucker Carlson Appears To Confirm Explosive Allegation About Fox News

Ex-Fox News star Tucker Carlson put his former network on notice with a cryptic post on social media. Carlson posted a video of his biographer, Chadwick Moore, seeming to confirm the shocking allegation that Dominion Voting Systems demanded Fox News fire Tucker as part of its settlement.

Fox News and Dominion denied the claims earlier. But Moore says his sources say it is true. he said: “For the last year, I’ve been writing the definitive biography of Tucker Carlson, based on thorough research and 100+ hours of interviews.

“But there’s some info that can’t wait for July 18: the scoop on why Fox canceled his show.” In the video, Moore says:

“It has now been reported that his firing was a condition demanded by Dominion as part of the settlement with Fox.

“Although Dominion has denied this, my sources have intimate knowledge of the situation.

“They have assured me even before this news leaked that this is in fact the truth.

“If that is true, it would mean that a small group of people who have a controlling interest in Dominion have managed to silence what is arguably the most important and influential conservative voice in the country.”

“As the Fox principals who negotiated the settlement well know, Dominion made no demands about Tucker Carlson’s employment orally or in writing,” Dominion said in a statement.

“Any claims otherwise are categorically false and a thinly veiled effort to further damage Dominion. Fox should take every effort to stop these lies immediately.”

But according to Variety, that was the reason Tucker was fired:

The mystery surrounding Tucker Carlson’s ouster from the airwaves at Fox News — and his future plans in media — are coming into sharper focus.

On April 26, Carlson spoke by phone with one of Fox Corp.’s eight board members, who told the host that his recent benching was a condition of Fox News’ settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the conversation.

The unnamed board member told Carlson that the condition does not appear in any of the settlement’s documents, and instead was a verbal agreement.

If Fox didn’t comply, the settlement was off, Carlson was told.

Dominion had plenty of leverage given that the $787.5 million deal to settle Dominion’s defamation suit against the network wouldn’t officially close until late-May.
