Hollywood legend James Woods humiliated President Joe Biden on social media after Joe pushed new gun reform legislation. Joe said:
“This is what commonsense gun reform looks like. Now, it’s up to Congress to get this done. Ban assault, weapons, and high capacity magazines. Strengthen background checks. Enact safe storage laws and red flag laws.
“Repeal the immunity that protects gun manufacturers from liability. Address the mental health crisis, deepened by the trauma of gun violence.”
James Woods wasn’t buying it and fired back at hapless Joe with:
“Try enforcing laws that already exist against thugs who use guns in crimes. Then this dog and pony show of yours won’t be necessary.”
Next, Woods went digging and found a quote of Biden’s where he said:
“I never believed that additional gun control or federal registration of guns would reduce crime.
“I am convinced that a criminal who wants a firearm can get one through illegal, untraceable, unregistered sources with or without a gun control.”
Woods and the old Biden are correct. Even more so in today’s world where Dem cities refuse to lock up criminals.
In Chicago, when they catch an armed carjacker, 9 out of 10 times the guy is on electronic monitoring for a similar crime.
James also commented on a new anti-theft Walgreens store in Chicago where customers must order at a kiosk, pay, and only then will they get their hands on the merchandise.
Woods said:
