Britney Spears was assaulted Wednesday night in Las Vegas by a member of NBA star rookie Victor Wembanyama’s security staff. Wembanyama was the first pick in the recent NBA draft.
The man who backhanded her hard enough to knock her to the ground and send her glasses flying off her face was the Director of Team Security for the San Antonio Spurs
She has filed a police report alleging battery. The alleged battery happened at Catch restaurant around 8 pm Wednesday night. According to TMZ: “Britney and co. walked over to Catch, and as they were entering the restaurant, Britney spotted Victor. We’re told she’s a fan and went over to him to ask if they could take a photo together.
“She tapped him on his back, right shoulder and, we’re told the Director of Team Security for the San Antonio Spurs — the team that drafted Victor last month — instantly backhanded her, causing her to fall to the ground … knocking her glasses off.”
According to TMZ, Brittany showed all class as she got up and walked to her table and when the security guy realized he lost his job and came over to apoligze, Brittany said it was all good.
TMZ reported the security guy said: “You understand how it is when you’re being swarmed by fans.”
But apparently, Brittney didn’t and filed a police report with the Metropolitan Police Dept.
The security guard’s biggest sin was treating a superstar like the rest of us because they don’t forget that snub.
