Country music legend Toby Keith beat the odds and performed his first two shows since he announced his diagnosis of stomach cancer in June of 2022. It appears, from his social media pages, that what was supposed to be a rehearsal turned into a pop-up show. (See Video Below.)
And he was having so much fun he kept the show going for over 2 hours. Then he went and did it again the next night.
Keith’s representatives told Fox News that they “are anticipating Toby will be on the road again soon. All of this is good news,” his reps said.
Toby, or his people, said on his Instagram page:
“Toby‘s first rehearsal turned into a 2 1/2 hour pop-up show. He sang all the hits plus the Bus Songs…Toby is back!
“It felt so right, Toby had to do it twice.
“Two nights in a row at @hollywoodcorners.
“Writing buddy @scottyemerick joined Toby.
“Nights to remember! Toby’s back!
“Can you guess which song hit #1 on the @billboard chart today based on this photo from the music video? (Hint: it’s not about wine or roses…).”
