After Kamala Harris made possibly the dumbest statement in American political history, Hollywood star Dean Cain called out the Vice President.
Kamala said on Twitter: “The majority of domestic flights do not have accessible restrooms. This is absolutely unacceptable. Our Administration will soon announce a solution to help end this inequity.”
One Twitter user said: “I honestly had to check to see if this was a parody account.” “Really?” wrote Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton.
“Yeah — get on that VP!! Forget the Border, and all the other…” actor Dean Cain wrote.
Another Twitter user said: “What are you talking about?!?!
“I fly all the time and the only flights that do not have bathrooms are the puddle jumper flights that have like 10 seats and only fly 40-45 minutes.”
Another Twitter user said: “I thought you were fixing the border and doing AI regulation, but airplane bathrooms now.”
Fox News followed up with Harris’ office and found out why she went full moron:
Harris’ office told Fox News Digital the tweet refers to rules the Department of Transportation drafted last year to upgrade restrooms in new single-aisle aircraft so that they are more accessible to people with disabilities.
More accessible lavatories are currently not required in single-aisle aircraft, and the rule is expected to be finalized soon.
Hannah Walden, a communications manager for Airlines for America which represents top domestic airlines such as American, Delta, Southwest, United and JetBlue, said U.S. airlines are willing and able to follow new guidelines from the Department of Transportation to better accommodate for disabled people.
“U.S. airlines are committed to offering a high level of customer service and providing a positive and safe flight experience for all passengers, especially passengers with disabilities,” Walden told Fox News Digital.
