U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., says he’s “deeply concerned” about the FBI’s investigation into the Biden family investigation.
He spoke to Jan Jeffcoat on The National Desk on Thursday, claiming there may be an agreement within the bureau to protect the first family from the full scope of the law.
“So we’ve got sources and informants even high-level people, the FBI who said, anytime information came forward showing criminal activity regarding the Biden’s a group called the foreign influence task force was sent in to immediately categorize that information as election interference for Russian disinformation so that investigative leads would not be followed,” Gaetz said.
Reacting to a hearing with FBI Director Christopher Wray on Wednesday, Gaetz says when he asked the question about the update on whether President Joe Biden is part of the Hunter Biden investigation, he was told that Wray couldn’t comment on the investigation.
“We do always get a bit frustrated when the ongoing investigation answer is used as a cloak to try to block the oversight that we legitimately are doing into what threats makes us for the country right now. That’s our job to see that Americans are safe, that there’s not a decision making structure that goes beyond the needs of our fellow Americans,” Gaetz said.
