Adam Schiff Tries To Save His A** On House Floor But Censure Bill Survives Motion To Table Dooming The Dem Rep

Dem Rep Adam Schiff gave a long-winded speech on the House floor to try to save his rear end as the ‘Censure Schiff’ bill survived the “motion to table” dooming Adam.

Last week’s censure Adam bill failed at this exact stage after 20 GOP reps objected to the massive $19M fine that was attached to it. The GOP stripped that provision and this time zero Republicans voted against it.

Adam Schiff said: “To my Republican colleagues who introduced this resolution, I thank you. You flatter me with this falsehood. You honor me with your enmity. Your words tell me that I have been effective in the defense of our democracy, and I am grateful.

“You who are the authors of the big lie about the last election must condemn the truth tellers and I stand proudly before you.

“No matter how many false justifications or slanders you level against me, you but indict yourselves. As Liz Cheney said, there will come a day when Donald Trump is gone. But your dishonor will remain.

“Here is the real gravamen of my offense. I led the first impeachment of Donald Trump for one of the most egregious presidential abuses of power in our history… And I would do so again.”

Rep. Bennie Thompson said: “Republicans are targeting Adam Schiff because he’s everything they wish he could be.”

Eric Swalwell: “I ask my colleagues: Are you as indecent as Donald Trump? Will you be remembered as footnotes in history’s books that chronicled Donald Trump’s corruption or will you be as decent as Adam Schiff?”

Majorie Taylor Greene: He did this to perpetuate the fake narrative that January 6th was an insurrection and it was not.

“If California decides to send Adam Schiff to the Senate, they will be sending a proven liar.”

Lauren Boebert: “If Adam Schiff has a shred of human decency left he would resign from congress in disgrace.”

Speaker McCarthy said:

“Adam Schiff abused his position as Chair of Intel to lie and lead America through a national nightmare with the fake Russia collusion narrative.

“As Speaker, I removed him from the Intel Committee, and now the full House will vote to censure him and open an ethics investigation.”
