A shocking new video has emerged showing Delta Flight 4819 flipping over as it landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Passengers described the horrifying moments as the plane tumbled before coming to rest upside down, leaving them suspended in their seats.
One survivor, John Nelson, recounted the chaos inside the cabin:
“It was just incredibly fast. There was a giant firewall down the side. I could actually feel the heat through the glass. Then we were going sideways. I’m not even sure how many times we tumbled, but we ended up upside down.”
Passengers were left “hanging like bats,” held in place only by their seatbelts. Nelson recalled releasing his belt, falling onto what had become the ceiling, and immediately helping a fellow passenger escape.
Miraculously, all 80 people on board survived the crash, though 18 suffered injuries. Emergency crews responded swiftly, evacuating passengers and providing medical assistance.
Authorities have yet to confirm the cause of the accident, but investigations are underway. The incident has reignited discussions about aviation safety and emergency response preparedness. More details are expected as officials analyze flight data and witness testimonies.
