Former President Donald Trump played his ace card and announced he has a surprise witness who will testify tomorrow to the New York grand jury that will decide his fate. The grand jury will hear two more witnesses tomorrow and then will vote for or against Trump’s indictment.
Michael Cohen’s former attorney, Robert Costello, will testify on Trump’s behalf tomorrow. Michael Cohen said he will also testify to try to refute what Costello will say. Cohen testified earlier. So the indictment may never happen after all. If it does, it will flop if it is solely about Stormy Daniels.
Trump said: “Just reported that the most important witness to go before the new york city grand jury, a highly respected lawyer who once represented convicted felon, jailbird, and serial fake storyteller and liar, Michael Cohen, will be doing so tomorrow afternoon.
“The information he will present will supposedly be conclusive and irrefutable! witch hunt.
According to Insider:
The grand jury meets in secret on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons, and will next convene for three hours on Monday.
The grand jurors must hear all evidence and then be informed of the relevant law — called being “charged” — by prosecutors before they can begin deliberations and voting.
If these tasks are not completed in three hours, grand jurors would return Wednesday afternoon to continue working.
