Geraldo Rivera, the veteran television host, has been canceled by Fox News’ hit show The Five. Geraldo whined about it on social media suggesting it may be temporary. He said:
“My appearances today and tomorrow on The Five have been canceled. I’m sure there’s a good reason. Never fear, I’ll be back week after next. Stay safe and happy. Thanks.”
But the sudden cancelation may have to do with how Geraldo took the shocking firing of Fox News star Tucker Carlson. On April 26th, days after the announcement of Carlon’s was benched by Fox News, Geraldo said:
“I don’t wish ill on anybody, but there is no doubt as I said at the time-Tucker Carlson’s perverse January 6 conspiracy theory was bullshit.
“Having lost the election President Trump incited an insurrection that sought to undermine our Constitutional process.”
Geraldo’s co-host on The Five, Greg Gutfeld, was not pleased with Geraldo and called him out publicly.
He said: “You’re a class act Geraldo. A real man of the people.”
But the President of News Cycle Media, Jon Nicosia, believes this is not a temporary ban.
He said:
“Word is you are off for good.
“After “destroying the chemistry with recent Tweets.”
