January 6 Rioter’s Texas Business Slammed With Negative Reviews, Death Threats After Trump Pardon: ‘You Are Still Guilty’

A Texas business owned by a pardoned January 6 rioter is facing a whirlwind of negative reviews and death threats following President Donald Trump’s mass pardon.

Adam Jackson pleaded guilty to attacking officers with a large traffic cone during the Capitol riot and says his business, Patriot Services Electric, is reeling from an onslaught of online backlash.

“All Jan 6ers have paid a heavy price,” Jackson told Newsweek. “When do we move on?”

Jackson said Google is helping remove these reviews, but the attacks haven’t stopped. A flood of negative comments, many from outside Texas, have since overwhelmed Yelp.

“Go ahead. Support a business owned by a January 6th rioter who fancies himself above the law,” one Yelp review reads. “I wouldn’t want to own a business that will now and forever have to rely only on patronage from his fellow conspiracy theorists.”

“Jan 6 rioter that plead guilty. Do not use this company,” one reviewer warned.

“You plead guilty! Stop crying because your choices had consequences,” another person wrote.

“You may have been pardoned by that fascist garbage, but you are still guilty and will be remembered as felons. YOU PLEAD GUILTY!!!” one Google review said.

Jackson hasn’t reported any death threats to police. “I don’t fear cowards,” he said.

Despite the backlash, Jackson maintains his business hasn’t been impacted.

“My business is thriving,” he said. “Although, it can be exhausting dealing with the attacks, it brings us more support! We run an honest company and provide quality service to our community.”

Democrats are condemning Trump’s pardons of more than 1,500 rioters, with one congressman calling it a “get-out-of-jail-free card to KKK Members.”

Many pardoned rioters are back in the spotlight and not for redemption. One was arrested on child pornography charges while another was caught allegedly soliciting sex from a minor.
