A now-former Pennsylvania State University professor has been charged with animal cruelty after being busted performing sexual acts with his dog in a public forest.
Themis Matsoukas, 64, was hit with a bunch of charges including open lewdness, indecent exposure, sexual intercourse with an animal, animal cruelty, and disorderly conduct.
He was spotted on trail cams in Rothrock State Forest naked with his collie as early as 2014. The acts were caught by surveillance cameras. The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources rangers launched an investigation after a trail cam captured footage of a man engaging in lewd behavior with a collie near a restroom in the Alan Seeger Parking Area.
The pervert Matsoukas was trying to film his disgusting actions on an iPad.
Police said he was “very nervous” when they arrested him and told officers, “I’m done.
“I’m dead,” before begging them to just shoot him.
“I do it to blow off steam,” Matsoukas said.
According to WTAJ:
Video from a trail camera set up to catch people stealing bags of hand sanitizer from the bathrooms showed Matsoukas and his dog on April 13.
Warning: The following account and video description comes directly from the criminal complaint filed by the DCNR. It may be graphic to some.
Matsoukas had allegedly left the restroom in the parking area with his dog and was naked. Wearing only a black ski mask, backpack, and hiking boots, Matsoukas allegedly began to masturbate while filming himself on one of the previously mentioned iPads.
Different videos captured that same day during the incident allegedly showed Matsoukas moving his iPad to various spots and positions.
At one point, investigators said he began to rub his chest and masturbate. He then bent over and pulled the dog’s leash, getting the dog to lick his anus while he continued.
According to Fox43:
The Alan Seeger Parking Area, where the alleged acts are said to have occurred, is within viewing distance of Stone Creek Road, a state forest road frequently used by vistors to access a nearby picnic area, leased campgrounds, Penn Roosevelt State Park, and the Greenwood Fire Tower, according to DCNR.
After the second alleged incident in May, investigators were able to identify Matsoukas by tracking down the vehicle he was seen in, a Subaru Outback. Investigators matched his DMV license photo with photos from the other trail cameras, the DCNR claims.
Investigators say Matsoukas’ alleged actions date back to at least 2014, when a trail camera at a privately owned camp first captured images of him walking around nude from the waist down.
A camera from a second privately owned camp recorded photos of a similar nature, according to DCNR’s investigation.
Once Matsoukas was identified as a suspect, authorities obtained a search warrant for his home and vehicle.
