White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was left speechless by an important question from Fox News reporter Peter Doocy about the growing immigration crisis on the Texas border.
Doocy said, “So what do you call it here at the White House when 10,000 people illegally cross the border in a single day?”
Jean-Pierre had no answer so instead tried to say something about the Republicans but Doocy wouldn’t let her. She said, “What do you call it, Peter, when GOP puts forth…” Doocy interjected and demanded an answer but Jean-Pierre had none and said “We’re gonna move on. We’re moving on.”
But avoiding the issue will not work for Biden much longer as Dem allies are now turning in him.
Ex-New York Governor Andrew Cuomo urged New York to sue the Biden administration today. “The states should sue the federal government for the entire fiasco,” he said.
“This is not a political issue when we’re doing something that hurts the public and makes no sense. We have to stand up and say, `This makes no sense.’”
“Right now, the migrant issue is chaotic — and I’m not even talking about the border.”
“The states should just do it since the federal government has abdicated its responsibility,” said Cuomo. “The state must act to protect its own interest.”
“What is the federal government’s response? Sue the state? I dare them.”
Doocy: “What do you call it when 10,000 illegals cross the border in a single day.”
Jean-Pierre: “What do you call it when republicans…”
Doocy: You’re not answering
Jean-Pierre: “We’re moving on”
