Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida sat down with Newsmax host Eric Bolling and told the former Fox News star that he is not interested in being Donald Trump’s Vice President pick.
When asked by Bolling whether or not he would like to be Trump’s Vice President nominee DeSantis said: “I think I’m probably more of an executive guy.” (See Video Below)
DeSantis added: “I think that you want to be able to do things. That’s part of the reason I got into this job is because we have action.” Sebastian Gorka was not impressed. He said of DeSantis’ recent interview spree:
“He does this snarky thing – he has to talk about hush money for porn stars and get giggles from the peanut gallery.
“It’s an NDA, Ron.
“I signed an NDA with Trump in 2015, and I ain’t no porn star.
“And now he shows us how big his ego is with you and says, “Oh, VP? No, no no. I’m an executive.’
“I guess being the second in line to the presidency, it’s just not good enough for Ron.”
DeSantis said earlier:
“So I’ve seen rumors swirl, I have not seen any facts yet. The Manhattan district attorney is a Soros-funded prosecutor. He, like other Soros-funded prosecutors, they weaponize their office to impose a political agenda on society at the expense of the rule of law and public safety.
“He has downgraded over 50% of the felonies to misdemeanors. He says he doesn’t want to even have jail time for the vast, vast majority of crimes. I don’t know what goes into paying hush money to a porn star to secure silence over some type of alleged affair.”
“I just, I can’t speak to that.
“But what I can speak to, is that if you have a prosecutor who is ignoring crimes happening every single day in his jurisdiction, and he chooses to go back many, many years ago, to try to use something about porn star hush money payments.
“You know, that’s an example of pursuing a political agenda and weaponizing the office.
“That’s fundamentally wrong.
“The Soros district attorneys are a menace to society and I’m just glad that I’m the only governor in the country that’s actually removed one from office during my tenure,” he said.
