At least one tiger has escaped from its enclosure at a zoo in Pine Mountain, Georgia after a tornado hit the area. At this time it is unclear if the animal is still inside the park or is roaming the streets looking for a snack.
The missing tiger is from the Wild Animal Safari located at 1300 Oak Grove Road in Pine Mountain. Troup County Sheriff’s Office said: “We have received a report from the Pine Mountain Animal Safari that they are reporting a Tiger that is unaccounted inside the park.
“We have sustained damage at the park and will not be open today,” the park said in a statement. “We are working diligently to keep our team and animals safe and will update with more news as it is available.”

According to the Wild Animal Safari’s website, ‘there are no cages — the animals roam freely and may even approach your group’ on the drive-thru safari.
It also claims that the 3.5-mile trail is a good way of ‘meeting nature’s animal friends’.
‘Travel down our 3.5-mile trail and see many different animals along the way,’ it says.
‘Some of them may even get close to meet you and your family!
‘From the comfort of your vehicle, you and your group can experience the thrill of the safari.’
