Former President Donald Trump appeared before a packed house in Maquoketa, Iowa, where many of the attendees waited hours in the rain to see him.
Trump did not disappoint telling the crowd “we’re going to win the Iowa caucuses in a historic landslide.” Trump said the MAGA movement is the “greatest political movement of all time.”
At one point a male Trump supporter in the crowd yelled “I Love You.” To which Trump responded, “I love you too. it’s not generally my thing when a guy screams out ‘I love you’”
Trump continued: “I hope we have a victory, otherwise this country is finished.
“We had the safest border in the history of our country, now we have the worst border. I don’t believe there is any third-world country that has a border like we have.”
Fox News Reporter Bill Melugin said: “Feels like deja vu today.
“I took the images on the left exactly two years ago to the day, as 15,000 Haitians crossed illegally into Del Rio, TX.
“I took the images on the right today, as thousands of migrants from Venezuela & around the world crossed illegally into Eagle Pass, TX.
“It’s a total free for all in Eagle Pass right now.
“Mass illegal crossing taking place for over an hour and a half.
“Almost 2 years to the day we saw 15,000+ Haitians under the bridge in Del Rio, we now have thousands of predominantly Venezuelans gathering under Eagle Pass bridge.”
The Border Patrol Union said:
“Exactly two years ago, we were trying to clear out the Haitian migrant camp under the POE in Del Rio. “The only difference today is that the thousands under the bridge in Eagle Pass are from all over the world.
“The White House says they have done more on the border than anyone else, and they are partly correct.
“No one has done more to destroy the concept of border security than this administration.
“BP agents continue to be tied up by this nonsense, unable to do their job of chasing down the people who aren’t turning themselves in.”
