Maui Police Chief John Pelletier has been named in a lawsuit involving Sean “Diddy” Combs, accused of being a co-conspirator in an alleged gang r*pe cover-up during his time as a Las Vegas police captain.
According to the lawsuit, Pelletier allegedly posed as a California sheriff’s deputy when responding to an assault case, where he is accused of telling the victim to go home without offering medical assistance.
The claims further allege that Pelletier later took the victim and another individual at gunpoint to his home, restrained them, and prevented them from contacting an attorney, as reported by Hawaii News Now.
In response, Maui County Mayor Richard Bissen has requested that Pelletier be placed on administrative leave while an investigation is conducted.
Pelletier has denied all allegations, calling them completely false.
