Former Trump senior adviser Stephen Miller delivered a fiery rebuke to the media, accusing them of deliberately ignoring President Joe Biden’s cognitive struggles for years while also calling out federal bureaucrats for refusing to implement Trump’s policies.
Speaking directly to reporters, Miller did not hold back.
“Many of the people in this room for four years failed to cover the fact that Joe Biden was mentally incompetent and was not running the country,” he declared.
Miller then turned his attention to Trump’s recent push to remove unelected bureaucrats who, he argued, have been obstructing the will of the American people.
“What President Trump is doing is he is removing federal bureaucrats who are defying democracy by failing to implement his lawful orders, which are the will of the whole American people,” he said.
The remarks come amid growing scrutiny over Biden’s ability to govern, with several reports suggesting key officials have had to manage major decisions on his behalf. Meanwhile, Trump has vowed to overhaul the federal government if re-elected, targeting career officials he says have undermined his policies.
Miller’s direct confrontation with the press adds to the mounting pressure on mainstream media outlets, many of which have only recently begun acknowledging concerns about Biden’s cognitive state—concerns long dismissed during Trump’s presidency.
