Houston-based Twitch streamer Kaitlyn Siragusa, known online as Amouranth, reportedly shot an armed intruder after being held hostage in her home during a robbery attempt.
According to reports, the suspect demanded access to Siragusa’s cryptocurrency accounts, pistol-whipped her, and attempted to coerce her into transferring funds. During the ordeal, Siragusa managed to send out a distress message on X (formerly Twitter), which alerted her husband.
“I’m being too robbed at gunpoint,” she wrote in a post.
When the suspects failed to gain access to her accounts, Siragusa led them into a separate building where her husband was waiting, armed with a pistol. Gunfire ensued, and Siragusa later reported that she believed she had shot one of the intruders.
“I’m covered in blood, but only some of it is mine,” she later stated.

Authorities confirmed that a trail of blood was found at the scene, indicating at least one suspect was injured. Siragusa was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Prior to the attack, she had publicly shared details of her $20 million crypto portfolio, raising concerns that she may have been targeted.
Local law enforcement is investigating the incident, and no suspects have been publicly identified at this time.
