During a tense exchange at the White House, a reporter confronted Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky over his choice of attire, questioning why he refuses to wear a suit while standing in the highest office of the United States.
“Why don’t you wear a suit?! You’re in the highest level of this country’s office, and you refuse to wear a suit. Do you own a suit?!” the reporter asked bluntly.
The confrontation highlighted growing frustrations among Americans who see Zelensky’s constant military-style clothing as a sign of disrespect for the Oval Office.
“A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting this office,” the reporter continued.
Zelensky, who has received billions in U.S. taxpayer aid, has made his signature olive-green outfits a staple of his public appearances. However, as criticism mounts, many are wondering: Does he really not own a suit, or is this just another attempt at theatrics?
